Miley Cyrus continues to be untamable!
After the 20-year-old star took to Twitter and announced she had nabbed the top spot on Maxim’s Hot 100 list – before the magazine released the official news – she was asked to remove the Tweet, but Miley refused.
Access Hollywood caught up with the young beauty, who sported a white and black Valentino jumpsuit and Saint Laurent heels at the mag’s Hot 100 party in Hollywood on Wednesday, where she dished on her early announcement.
“If I’m nominated for something or if I win anything or if I [hear] anything my fans know before anyone tells me, I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s out.’ so I’m just allowed to [talk about it],” she explained.
Before the mag’s list was revealed (which also included Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Lawrence, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Ashley Tisdale, Kate Upton, Vanessa Hudgens and Elisha Cuthbert), Miley Tweeted, “Didn’t know this was coming out yet! I’m so happy to be #1 on Maxims HOT 100! #myfanskickass #dreamsdocometrue,” which caused a bit of a commotion.
“And then I got a call like three minutes later [asking], ‘Can you delete that Tweet?’” Miley told Access.
But millions of her fans had already seen the big news.
“Twelve million people already saw it.” She recalled. “I’m not gonna take it down.”
Miley Cyrus was the main draw at last night’s Maxim Hot 100 Party in Hollywood.
After all, fans did vote her No. 1 on the mag’s famous list for 2013. But the 20-year-old trendsetter isn’t letting her good looks take all the credit for snagging the top spot.
“My team told me, real nonchalant, like I might not have been as excited as I was,” she began to tell E! News at the Maxim bash, “but I was more excited because with all my music coming up, it shows how involved my fans are with everything. And it’s all cause of them so it’s just great.”
Cyrus continued to gush over her loyal fan base, telling us, “It’s them voting. They are so diligent, dude. They are always talking about my music. I don’t sleep cause I’m always thinking about my music, but they don’t sleep cause all they think about is me and my music. So it’s amazing.”
And her fans have even more to look forward to, now that the celeb has revealed the title of her next single, and teased that there will be a “big announcement” during Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards.
Yesterday (May 15th), Miley attended the Maxim Hot 100 Party in Los Angeles, where she celebrated topping Maxim’s list. She was wearing a Valentino strapless jumpsuit and Yves Saint Laurent shoes. I find her outfit to be totally fabulous, it fits her so well! I just love it when she wears jumpsuits, do you guys remember the one she wore at the Rachel Zoe fashion show back in February? She looked amazing as well. I fell in love with her makeup at first sight, until I spotted the white on her chin. You can’t see it in every picture because it depends of the lighting and the angle but it looks really weird to me, I really wonder what happened or if it was made on purpose. What do you guys think? This year’s Billboard Music Awards has some top performers and the list of presenters, which is just as star-studded, has now been confirmed.
The event, which is due to take place on May 19 in Las Vegas, will be hosted by actor and comedian Tracy Morgan, but he will be joined by a string of well-loved musicians who will act as presenters for the night.
Singer Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha and Carly Rae Jepsen have all been announced for the exciting role, but a further 11 music stars will also present awards and segments at the extravaganza. Several Hollywood personalities will step in as presenters, including ‘Nashville’ beauty Hayden Panettiere, ‘Dark Shadows’ actress Chloe Moretz, and Alyssa Milano.
Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift and Bruno Mars are all set to perform live at the Billboard Music Awards, which will also see Madonna honoured with a special award for her touring achievements.
Miley Cyrus has been urging fans on Twitter this week to head to their nearest store and grab a copy of BFF and fellow former Disney star Demi Lovato’s brand new album ‘Demi’, which was released in the US this week.
The ‘Give You’re Heart A Break’ star has been promoting the album across America this week, opening up about what could possibly be her rawest collection to date.
Maxim’s sexiest woman of the year, Miley tweeted the X Factor USA judge encouraging fans: “Pick up her new album now #goonwichyabadself.” (sic)

She also discussed her upcoming appearance on the X Factor USA, reprising her role as judge and Simon Cowell’s favourite frenemy, teasing fans that “there might be a judge announcement next week.”
Last night, The Source Magazine spoke with one of our favorite songwriters, Angela Hunte, on the red carpet for the 2013 SESAC Pop Music Awards at the New York Public Library. Hunte who recently co-wrote Snoop Lion’s “Reincarnated,” and is probably best known for penning Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind,” is always in the studio with the biggest names in music. She told The Source that she recently worked with Jennifer Hudson and Ledisi on their upcoming projects, but the session that most peaked our interest was Miley Cyrus!
“Miley is amazing, she is amazing, she was a sweetheart and super professional. She was a pleasure to work with, I had a ball. We had fun. It wasn’t even like we were working, we were just laughing and having a good time with Diplo and its been fun. I’ve been working a lot with Diplo, that’s my boy,” Hunte told The Source exclusively.

Website The Hollywood Gossip recent created a poll asking their visitors who they thought looked better on their Maxim spread between Miley & Selena Gomez (who recently commented on Miley’s Maxim shoot). You can vote here for Miley or Selena – whoever you think looks best. Selena is currently winning with 66.9% of the votes.
Selena Gomez may not be the hottest woman on the Maxim Hot 100, but the young singer isn’t too distressed over her ranking.
She is number-two, after all.
And what does she think of the magazine’s top choice, Miley Cyrus?
“She’s beautiful,” Gomez said on Friday’s edition of “The TJ Show” on 103.3 in Boston, adding that she doesn’t understand why such a list even exists.
